About this game

A strategic driving game from the award-winning maker’s of Smash Hit. Does not Commute is a temporal paradox in which you have no one to blame but yourself. What starts out as a relaxing commute in a small town of the 1970's quickly devolves into traffic chaos with hot dog trucks, sports cars, school buses and dozens of other vehicles. You drive them all. Plan ahead. Don't be late.

In this small town, discover the characters and their secrets – what world-changing experiment is inventive dentist Dr Charles Schneider hiding? Will Mr Baker quit his job in advertising? What is that strange mask on Mrs Griffin's face? Will Mr Mayfield’s peculiar obsession with Yorkshire Terriers take over his life?

Does Not Commute is playable at no cost and free from ads. An optional premium upgrade is available through a one-time in-app purchase that will enable the ability to continue from checkpoints.

As with Smash Hit and PinOut, this game plays, sounds, and looks great. Unfortunately, also as with those other games, Does Not Commute is almost unplayable without paying, as you have to pay to save your progress, which makes even less sense with this game because, unlike the other games, this is a problem solving game, meaning that you can't get back to where you left off much faster or easier by "getting good".

Really good game! All that I wish you could add is to instead of having to pay for premium to continue your run, maybe you could watch an ad for another 10 seconds or something, because when I spend 10-15 minutes on it, just to inevitably lose and have to start over, it is very saddening and annoying. That is all I want from this game. Without the ad thing, 10/10, would definitely recommend.

An indescribably excellent experience! A quirky storyline, captivating gameplay, and stunning graphics! After playing the developer's other game, "Pin Out," I had to try this one as well. As usual, I was not disappointed! Unusual for a mobile game, the soundtrack for "Does Not Commute" absolutely blew me away! I rushed to buy the entire album of digital music, then upgraded to Pro right away, so that I could save my progress through the game. No regrets!
